Links I Like: 8/8/14

Happy Friday! I’ve had a superbusy week, between freelance writing projects and seeing patients (I’m so grateful for my patients who are willing to pay out of pocket while I continue to wait for my insurance credentialing to come in. I am now able to accept Regence BCBS, which is great news!). I’ve got lots of projects to work on this weekend, too, so I’ll be glued to my computer while Jeff is busy painting the front of our house. I plan to fit some cooking, baking, gardening and exercising in there, too. But for now, links:

Head’s up that I have a column in this Sunday’s Seattle Times on the links between nutrition, physical activity and fertility. I interviewed some very knowledgable, caring experts from various areas of the field (registered dietitian, reproductive endocrinologist, Harvard researcher), as well as a woman who experienced first hand how eating better and moving more can make a difference when trying to become pregnant.
As always, my interviews netted more great information and insights than I had room for in my column, so I’ll be sharing the bounty in my blog posts next week. Stay tuned Monday for much more!
